STOP PRESS - new public procurement thresholds effective 1 January 2012

The procurement thresholds for application of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006, Utilities Contracts Regulations 2006 and the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 will change from 1 January 2012.

Contracting authorities will note that the thresholds have increased slightly since the last update which is good news in potentially lifting more transactions outside of the detailed rules.

The changes also apply to the relevant Scottish regulations, being the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 and Utilities Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 and are as follows:
