Caitlin Anniss of Veale Wasbrough Vizards is now a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, making her one of only a small number of lawyers nationally who also hold a professional qualification in HR.
As a result of Caitlin's qualification, the employment team at Veale Wasbrough Vizards is to expand its Human Resources Consultancy services to clients who do not have their own HR department or who require strategic HR input.
The head of VWV’s employment team, said
"Caitlin worked tirelessly for her membership of the CIPD, combining her studies effortlessly with her role as an associate in the employment team.
She has already shared her added capabilities and experiences with the team in addition to a number of clients who have benefited from her all-round approach. There is no doubt that in these difficult and tight times, strategic staff management will prove to be a crucial addition to any organisation's approach when dealing with tricky employment law issues."
One of Caitlin's first tasks as a dual legal/HR practitioner is to launch the Bristol HR Club, which will hold its inaugural meeting this autumn. The Bristol HR Club will provide invaluable support to local HR practitioners on difficult and topical staff related matters.
