The training and development of all our staff members is at the heart of everything we do.
We were the first major legal practice in the South West to achieve an Investors in People standard back in 1996, and have continued to maintain that standard ever since. In order to have a benchmark of quality control and assessment, we have adopted the Law Society’s practice management standards as our statements of good practice and were also awarded Lexcel accreditation in January 2004, becoming one of only 20 major law firms to achieve this demanding accolade.
Working and living in Bristol
When one looks at the professional, social and cultural opportunities presented by the city of Bristol, it is easy to see why the area continues to be such a popular place to live and work - particularly for young professionals:
- It is a prosperous and dynamic city, which is currently undergoing its most significant redevelopment in 50 years.
- Already England’s second financial services centre, Bristol is also home to a number of nationally important industrial sectors including aerospace, defence and hi-tech.
- The redevelopment of Bristol’s historic Harbourside (in which we have played a key part) will generate new business and cultural opportunities. Bristol has all the advantages of being a modern university city, whilst retaining the links to its historic past.
Bristol offers social activities to suit all tastes, from waterside pubs and cafes, famous theatres, clubs and restaurants, to exhibitions, festivals and concerts.
