| A lot of the work undertaken in the Private Client department has high client contact. I have been given a number of opportunities to attend client meetings and speak with clients. This gives not only great experience on interacting directly with clients but has also allowed me to be involved with matters from the beginning, attending initial client meetings where instructions were taken | ![]() |

| I have had the opportunity to meet with several different clients during my current seat. I attended a client meeting at the client's college in order to gather information to draft witness statements, attended a meeting to discuss the disciplinary process with a client who had suspended a member of staff and sat in on a without prejudice negotiation between a school and a teacher who they were looking to part company with. During all of these meetings I had an opportunity to discuss the matter with the client and was actively involved. | ![]() |

| I have had the opportunity to take attendance notes at a client meeting and attend a drinks reception with numerous clients we have acted for through the International Centre for Families in Business. I additionally converse with clients and respond to their queries on a daily basis over the telephone. | ![]() |

| Yes. In my first seat, Education Employment, I only got the opportunity to meet a couple of clients. However in my current seat, Property Litigation, my supervisor and the other lawyers in the team are very keen to take me with them when meeting clients. I have been out around ten times in three months so far. | ![]() |
