Skills, knowledge and experience
Must have least 3 years experience of working as a Visualfiles developer in a debt recovery environment ideally in the legal sector. Must also possess knowledge and programming experience of Visualfiles reporting suite and Visualfiles online using asp.net, JavaScript and other web-related technologies.
Progress and SQL skills essential.
Ideal candidate will also possess knowledge of change management, business processes and have excellent documenting skills.
Knowledge of other legal applications is also highly desirable.
Tasks
Commercial debt recovery
- Create new insolvency workflow
- Reformat all precedents into new house style
- Re-develop client inception routine
- Improve function for linking files
- Maintain and develop client portal
- Develop new management reports
- Attend client meetings and product demonstrations
School fees recovery
- Migrate all existing clients/files to new client/matter structure
- Analyse current working practice and develop new debt recovery application
- Complete necessary work for renewal scheme
- Develop and create reports for management
- Reformat all precedents into new house style
- Maintain and develop client portal inline with new application
- Train new users and new application
- Create new routine for billing
- Improve function for linking files
General Visualfiles activities
- Provide bug fixes for identified issues
- Develop ad-hoc reporting for clients
- Conduct regular User group meetings
