Annette joined Veale Wasbrough Vizards in 2006 as a trainee solicitor. Annette specialises in advising on mental capacity issues, Court of Protection matters and law that applies to elderly clients such as Lasting Powers of Attorney, as well as contentious and non-contentious private client matters.
Annette's clients range from people appointed by the Court of Protection as deputies, attorneys, the elderly and vulnerable and private clients requiring advice on a disputed issue or assistance with their personal affairs.

- Obtaining a deputyship application for a young adult who had suffered a brain injury, for the appointment of a professional Deputy and a relative as Deputy
- Advising on a contested registration of an Enduring Power of Attorney
- Making an application to the Court of Protection relating to the sale of land and appointment of a trustee, and dealing with complex family issues relating to the matter

- Successfully settling a proprietary estoppel claim on behalf of a client who claimed a beneficial entitlement to the family farm
