Specialisms
Christine heads the firm's Private Wealth sector and has many years experience advising private clients about wills, trusts estate planning and administration. She acts as a trustee in a number of trusts and has acted as the independent administrator in a disputed estate with cross border assets, as well as executor in a number of complex estates. She deals particularly with problems affecting the elderly and incapacitated.
She has written numerous articles on these topics and often lectures on inheritance tax and related topics for clients . She has appeared on television on BBC 2's "Working Lunch" programme dealing with questions from the public on wills and has appeared on Radio 4's Money Box Live with Paul Lewis answering listeners' questions on probate.
She is recommended as a key individual in Chambers 2011 as "technically able, personable and communicative" and as a leading figure in the Legal 500 which quotes her clients "..Christine Green is particularly effective- we trust her implicitly and she communicates advice in a way that is readily understood".
Professional affiliations and appointments
She holds diploma membership of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and membership of the association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists and Solicitors for the Elderly. She sits as an observer to the Executive Committee of the Private Client Section of the Law Society.
