Jason qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and specialises in contentious and non-contentious construction law.
He regularly drafts and negotiates the terms of building contracts, collateral warranties and professional appointments, together with ancillary documentation such as performance bonds, parent company guarantees and letters of intent. Jason also has significant experience of complex litigation, arbitration and adjudication cases as well as alternative dispute resolution procedures such as mediation.
Jason acts for employers, main contractors, sub-contractors, tenants and consultants. He is a member of the Adjudication Society, a Fellow of the Forum for the Built Environment and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Jason also has niche expertise in alcohol and entertainment licensing. He acts for a range of private and public sector clients and also organises and chairs the Local Government Training Partnership Licensing Club, established to discuss and resolve issues that arise under the Licensing Act 2003.
