Many of the lawyers in the team have extensive experience of acting for parties engaged in mediation. We fully appreciate the powerful and often unique dynamics and process of mediation as a means of resolving some disputes in a way that is not always open to a court. Mediation can also be embarked upon long before any court proceedings are contemplated allowing speed and certainty of result and ideally the resumption of a business relationship between the parties in dispute.
In some other cases, often prescribed by a formal agreement between the parties, a referral to arbitration is the answer. Again we have in depth experience of resolving disutes by this process.
Sometimes all that is required is to guide and encourage the parties through an informal process designed to enable them to meet, discuss and resolve their dispute between themselves without lawyers being involved.
