PFI and projects

Our highly regarded public sector team was established sixteen years ago and has extensive experience of advising and supporting local authorities and other public sector bodies on a variety of issues including extensive funding and joint working (including joint venture) work, compliance and regulatory advice, routine support and project based transactional work.

We are very experienced in acting for and advising public sector organisations and pride ourselves on being able to work in partnership to deliver their objectives and do so in a simple and straightforward way.

We regularly advise on public law issues, public sector contracting, public private partnerships and joint ventures, PFI, partnering, project finance, property, commercial issues and employment law. We have specialists in each of these areas. We also have considerable experience of assisting in making submissions to ministers, senior officials and regional government offices.

We are thoroughly familiar with H.M. Treasury standardisation in PFI contracts - specifically SoPC3. Our experienced team of PPP/PFI lawyers are therefore well placed to assist you and guide you through this potentially complex area.

Working in Partnership

Our relationship with you is based on partnership not on competition. We aim to provide the services you require to enable you to achieve your objectives, often providing specialised services to compliment and support the public sector’s own internal legal departments.

We provide on behalf of the Local Government Training Partnership a training programme established to provide training for local government lawyers. Please click here for details on the full 2006/07 programme and seminar registration.
