"How to be safe, not sorry, at auctions"

Our AuctionWise service has been designed specifically for clients wanting to check out the legal aspects before they bid on a property.

It includes a written report with copies of any relevant papers, setting out exactly what you are letting yourself in for and a guide on auction procedures - how and when to bid, plus pitfalls for the unwary.

It also contains advice about surveys and finance, bridging loans, synchronising with other transactions, and about your insurance obligations.

The AuctionWise package costs a minimum of £300 plus VAT, provided we have at least 72 hours notice before the auction to allow us time to get papers through from the auctioneer and from the seller's solicitors.

You will need to allow more time if we are required to make our own searches with the local authority. We can sometimes offer our AuctionWise service right up to the day of the auction but our report will be verbal, rather than written and there may be an additional charge.
