Schools and Colleges face the double burden of the second year of an economic downturn together with an increasing, ever changing regulatory burden. All schools and colleges need to balance their own outgoings, including staff salaries with the need to keep their provision affordable.
This training session will look at strategic issues which schools and colleges need to bear in mind when managing this balance, but are focussed on staffing.
We will provide an overview of the latest developments in employment law and issues that are likely to impact on schools and colleges in the coming year.
This year, following demand from delegates we are running an optional afternoon workshop for those who wish to benefit from a full day's training on employment law.
