Real Estate Development: Property Insolvency

Seminar overview

2010 looks set to bring economic recovery, but the effects of the recession will continue to be felt throughout the property industry. The rate of insolvencies is expected to remain high and a more buoyant market will give lenders more options to enforce security.

Our series of seminars focus on the strategic and legal issues which property owners and professionals will need to consider during the economic recovery.

Taking place during three 60 minute sessions, these seminars are an easy way to refresh your existing knowledge and catch up on the latest developments.

Refreshments will be served from 4.30pm followed by the session at 5.00pm, closing at 6.00pm. Please join us after the event for drinks and nibbles and an opportunity to network with the speakers and other professionals.

Session contents

In this session we will provide an overview of the different insolvency regimes, summarise key terminology and explain how the latest developments in insolvency law affect property owners.

The seminars are aimed at property owners and managers, developers, lenders, surveyors and other property professionals and will address the insolvency issues that will be relevant throughout the economic recovery.
