Agency Worker Regulations

In October 2011, new legislation will come into force to give agency workers in the UK the same rights and benefits enjoyed by those employed directly by the hirer. At Reed Specialist Recruitment, we see it as our duty to inform you of the AWR and to offer support in preparing for the new legislation.

The Equality Act 2010

The Act is the single biggest piece of discrimination law to be introduced in the UK. As well as consolidating existing legislation, it also introduces a number of new rights for individuals to protect against them discrimination. Key employment policies and procedures should be reviewed to ensure that they are compliant with the new rules by October 2010.
