The London HR Club has been formed to provide HR professionals with the opportunity to meet over breakfast, to discuss topical issues and share problems with their colleagues. The aim is for club members to agree the topic for each meeting in advance and speakers will be invited to periodically address the club on that topic, hopefully prompting lively discussions and debate.
We are pleased to announce our inaugural session for 2012 will focus on managing short term sickness absence and will cover both how to deal with this in practice and some of the common problem areas which arise. The session will use practical examples and will provide the opportunity to discuss experiences with other club members.
Gareth Edwards, Head of the employment team at VWV, will be speaking with other members of the employment team in attendance.
This seminar will provide you with an excellent opportunity to meet Bettina Rigg, who joined the employment team in November as a partner, together with other members of the team.
