How Can Charlotte Help You?
Charlotte joined the firm as a Trainee Solicitor in August 2014 and qualified into our Charities team in September 2016.
During her training, Charlotte spent 12 months in the Charities team. Charlotte is therefore able to draw on this sector experience to advise a range of education, charity and not for profit clients on charity law and company law matters.
Charlotte's work includes advising on the incorporation and registration of new charities, helping charities comply with their regulatory requirements, assisting with academy transfers and conversions, and advising independent schools going through major strategic change or constitutional review.
Charlotte also assists on various aspects of ecclesiastical law, including marriage in the Church of England and the appointment and resignation of clergy.
Meeting Your Needs
Charlotte enjoys keeping up to date with developments in the sector by researching and drafting articles for the firm's various publications. This, together with the experience gained from her training, has helped Charlotte understand the challenges that clients face.
Charlotte works under the supervision of more senior members of the team, which offers clients a more cost effective service.
