Edward is part of the Estates, Tax Planning and Trusts team in London, and undertakes a wide range of work, such as the drafting of Wills and trusts, the registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney, and the administration of estates. Edward is involved in drafting legal documents, undertaking legal research, corresponding with clients, solicitors and other parties, and providing advice to clients.
Edward understands that private clients are dealing with their own or their family’s affairs and realises the importance of client care and of keeping clients informed of progress at every stage of their case.
With experience in all aspects of the estate administration process, Edward can advise you on the likely Inheritance Tax payable on your estate and on any steps which can be taken to mitigate this.
Edward can also prepare Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney on your behalf so that you can be confident that your affairs will be properly organised on your death, and if you should lose mental capacity in your lifetime.
Year of qualification - 2017.
Edward joined the firm when he qualified in October 2017. Edward read History at Royal Holloway, University of London, before achieving distinctions in both the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course which he studied part-time.
Edward previously worked as an administrator in an Inn of Court, as a researcher in the House of Commons, and as a paralegal for an American attorney based in London.
In his spare time Edward is a member of Dulwich Runners and competes across all distances from 5,000m up to marathons.
