Government Unveils Scheme to Give SMEs £5,000 to Receive Consultancy on Improving their Cyber Security

SMEs will receive vouchers of up to £5,000 each to spend on obtaining specialist advice for improving their cyber security and protection for intellectual property.

This is according to a new Government scheme announced by Ed Vaizey, the Digital Economy Minister. The aim is to improve the resilience of small and medium sized businesses to cyber attacks. The scheme will be overseen by Innovate UK (previously known as the Technology Strategy Board).
