Inheritance Act Claims

Lord Starbuck has died, leaving behind not only his coffee empire but also his wife of 40 years and partner of 10 years.

Piers Feltham and William Moffett will argue (as a preliminary issue) whether Lord Starbuck's partner qualifies as a Claimant under the Inheritance Act 1975. In a twist of fate, there may be another Claimant's cause to consider too.

Our Judge for the evening will be Thomas Dumont. As well as grilling our advocates he will share his experience of appearing in similar cases.

Come and decide for yourself which of our advocates' views you support and join us for what promises to be a lively and informative event.

This seminar will appeal to both contentious and non-contentious practitioners alike and there will be opportunities to raise questions with our speakers both during the court room drama or, if you prefer, over drinks and canapes afterwards.
