We're delighted to bring to you our highly acclaimed Company Secretarial Course, which has been revamped and extended to include an additional session with practical advice for those involved in clerking.

We will guide you through the legal issues to carry out your academy trust's company secretarial and clerking duties with confidence in a practical session with our specialist lawyers Jaime Hobday and Rosie Phillips.

This session includes:

  • role of the Company Secretary and Clerk
  • structure of an Academy Trust and Multi Academy Trust
  • assisting members and trustees
  • filings and registers
  • legal update - the handbook and company law
  • practical clerking tips including induction, agenda setting, action tackling and effective minute taking

Timings - 9.30am registration for a 10.00am start this session also include a 45 minute lunch break at 1pm and will finish at 3.00pm.
