Gareth is an employment law specialist and advises on the full range of both contentious and non-contentious employment law and labour relations issues. He has a wide range of experience managing complex and sensitive issues in the workplace, together with managing employment tribunal disputes. He is also an experienced employment tribunal advocate. Gareth advises on industrial relations issues and non-contentious issues, such as executive severances, business reorganisations, TUPE and outsourcing issues, plus the employment aspects of corporate transactions.
Gareth has a particular interest in discrimination law and regularly advises and speaks on employer's obligations under the Equality Act 2010 and the impact of the changes arising out of the removal of the default retirement age.
Gareth regularly conducts in-house training seminars and also speaks at external conferences. He regularly contributes articles for the business press on employment law issues.
