Senior Staff Solicitor
Mary is a planning lawyer in the Commercial and Projects Department having had previous experience working directly within local government. She has experience of advising both private sector clients and local authorities on a range of planning and highway related matters. Her development work and other commercial property work includes:
- assisting with completion of major planning agreements with Persimmon Homes on behalf of Wiltshire County Council relating to significant new residential settlements in East Trowbridge and Old Sarum Salisbury
- advising land owners on the negotiation of planning obligations in relation to a proposed residential development on a former now redundant operating site
- acting for Torbay Borough Council on the variation of a planning agreement to facilitate European Regional Development Fund (EDRF) grant aided regeneration development for business park purposes.
