Associate
Polly is a specialist planning solicitor and joined Veale Wasbrough Vizards as an Associate in the Real Estate team in 2005 from Bevan Brittan, Bristol office. She trained in local government working for Somerset County Council and Mendip District Council (and was also Clerk for the Litton Parish Council between 1999 to 2002).
She has acted for the Ministry of Defence, the Secretary of State for Health, NHS Trusts, Local Authorities (including East Devon District Council, Somerset County Council, Bristol City Council, Wiltshire Council and Gloucestershire County Council), Landowners, Developers and third parties on a range of planning and highway related matters. This has included advising on:
- town and village green applications and defences
- negiotation of planning and highway agreements
- planning appeals (including advocacy)
- planning enforcement
- applications for certificates of lawful use (proposed and existing)
- judicial review.
