Lucy is a Partner based in our Birmingham office, in the Private Client team. She is a family law specialist and can assist you in all areas of family law including divorce, together with the related financial proceedings, Children Act proceedings, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, cohabitation and Trusts of Land Act proceedings. Lucy has over 17 years of experience in family law.
She is an experienced family lawyer and generally acts for clients of a high net worth. She often acts for clients with jurisdictional disputes and has represented clients where proceedings have been issued under Hague Convention Child Abduction, issued in the High Court.
One of her key areas of interest and expertise is in cohabitation disputes. She was instructed in the reported case of Southwell v Blackburn [2014] EWCA 1347 which was heralded by the press as a "landmark decision".
She is mentioned in the Legal 500.

Lucy has spent the majority of her career practicing in the Midlands, having achieved Partnership at her last firm, a top-tier Legal 100 law firm, and before that working for a small niche practice in Solihull dealing with high-value financial relief.
