As we bid our farewells to our previous Charities of the Year, VWV is proud to reflect on the impactful work accomplished across our four offices. Over the past two years, each office has formed meaningful partnerships, raised funds and supported various initiatives for a charity chosen by their office staff.

Our Bristol office, has successfully partnered with Off The Record, a fantastic local charity that provides crucial free mental health support and information to young people aged 11-25. Through dedicated efforts such as raffles, sporting challenges, cake sales, and Christmas events, our Bristol team raised over £20,500 for the charity. Off The Record opened its doors in 1965 and has been working in areas in and around Bristol to support young people in the area.

Our Birmingham team have proudly supported Mind Birmingham for the last two years. They work with individuals with mental health needs, assisting them to build upon their own strengths so that they are in control of their own lives.

In London, the team have supported Samaritans, a charity working to provide emotional support to anyone in distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide throughout Great Britain and Ireland, often through their telephone helpline. The charity was formed in 1953 and has been working tirelessly since. VWV is honoured to have contributed to their ongoing efforts and continues to recognise the vital role they play in our community.

Finally, our Watford office formed a close bond with Electric Umbrella, a charity that delivers amazing, live interactive music experiences delivered by disabled individuals. This partnership has brought joy to many events hosted by our Watford team and the charity has grown close to the hearts of many of our team. Indeed, VWV Partner, Paul Gershlick, was recognised with a Corporate Ambassador Award from the charity. He commented "VWV are so proud to support Electric Umbrella. Their work breaks down barriers between people of different abilities or disabilities, redefining possibilities and perceptions."

As we extend our best wishes to these incredible charities for their future endeavours, we are excited to be shortly announcing our new charity partners.
