Your induction programme

Starting a new role can feel overwhelming, but we make the transition as smooth as possible.

Your induction programme is designed to help you settle in quickly, giving you the tools, knowledge, and connections you need to succeed.

  • Personalised onboarding - We tailor the programme to your role, introducing you to key colleagues, systems, and processes to support your early performance.
  • Cross-department introductions - You'll spend time with different teams, gaining insight into the firm’s culture and operations.
  • Interactive, user-friendly training - Our sessions are engaging, relaxed, and practical, ensuring you feel confident using our systems from day one.
  • Social and CSR engagement - We’ll help you discover the many corporate social responsibility (CSR) groups available, so you can get involved and feel part of the team straight away.

The onboarding process was exceptionally smooth and well-structured. I was guided through each step methodically, with all of my questions addressed promptly, which made me feel comfortable and supported throughout. The process itself was straightforward and efficient. Upon starting, I was provided with a comprehensive two-day induction, during which I felt genuinely welcomed. I was allowed to progress at my own pace, and the individuals leading the induction ensured nothing was rushed. I could not have asked for a better start.

By keeping progress at the heart of your conversations, we ensure your career journey stays on course and your potential is fully realised. At the start of each year, you’ll sit down with your manager to set clear, achievable objectives. Every other month, you’ll meet with your manager to review progress, celebrate successes, and set new goals where needed. Throughout the year, specific sessions will focus on the steps you need to take to achieve promotion.

Joining us as a Partner

If you're joining VWV as a Partner, you’ll benefit from a comprehensive, year-long integration programme designed to set you up for success.

From day one, you'll be paired with a senior mentor who will guide you through your first months and help you connect with key stakeholders. Throughout the year, you'll have regular review meetings with your Head of Department and our Managing Partner to track progress against your business plan. As part of your integration, you'll visit each of our offices to build relationships and see how our teams collaborate across locations. After your first year, you'll receive a 360° assessment to reflect on your progress and set clear, focused objectives for the year ahead.
