Alexandra Ueno-Park nominated for 2025 Inspirational Women in Law Awards
We are really pleased to announce that at our colleague and a partner in the Tax Team at VWV's London office has been recognised for her mentoring within the legal profession by being a finalist at a prestigious industry awards.
Alexandra Ueno-Park has been nominated in the 'Mentor of the Year' category at the 2025 Inspirational Women in Law Awards, which recognise those who are both excelling in their areas of practice and are working to ensure that women in the legal industry are able to thrive.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the field, Alex's comprehensive knowledge of the sector, coupled with her robust management skills positions Alex to provide guidance and support to a wide array of stakeholders.
Alex began her career as a tax adviser at a Big 4 accountancy firm and later qualified as a solicitor at a top international law firm in London. Her experience includes effectively delivering and implementing various tax and operational projects, as well as managing cross-functional teams located in various jurisdictions. Alex's extensive professional experience extends beyond her private practice background jurisdictions.

This year’s edition of the awards is the 10th edition and will also be integrated into the Next Hundred Years Centenary Celebrations of Women in Law, as part of the wider Next 100 Years campaign, which seeks to accelerate the pace of change by encouraging collaboration across the profession and improve the visibility of women in law.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony held at the London offices of DLA Piper on November 4.
