VWV celebrates five newly qualified solicitors and two new trainees

03 Mar 2026

VWV has strengthened its legal teams with the qualification of five new solicitors this March.

Based across the firm's Bristol, London and Watford offices, the newly qualified solicitors will enhance VWV's expertise in data protection, estate tax planning and trusts, regulatory risk and resolution and corporate law.

The five solicitors - Antony Cheung, Bethany Leggett, Claire Huibonhoa, Greta Cicchetti, and Josh Keyte - have successfully completed their training contracts with the firm. Reflecting their commitment to nurturing talent, VWV achieved a 100% retention rate this year, with all five trainees accepting offers to continue their careers at the firm. All of the newly qualified solicitors began their journey with the firm as paralegals, demonstrating VWV's dedication to supporting career progression at every level.

Laura Chesham, Trainee Solicitor Lead Partner, has commented:

"Congratulations to all of our NQs on successfully completing their training contracts. This is a fantastic achievement and the product of a lot of hard work. Thank you to all of our NQs for their commitment to VWV and its values. I wish them all every success as they start their careers as qualified lawyers."

In addition to celebrating these new qualifications, VWV continues to invest in the next generation of lawyers. This month, Katherine Tweed (Bristol) and Rachel Wan (London) are both progressing from their paralegal roles within the firm to begin their training contracts.

VWV's structured training contract offers aspiring solicitors hands-on experience across four different practice areas, providing them with a strong foundation for a successful legal career.
