Gareth is part of our Coronavirus Response team and provides specialist support to organisations, businesses and individuals on the challenges posed by coronavirus.
Coronavirus and Brexit pose many financial challenges to universities. Gareth can confidently support you through these challenges and guide you through any strategic decisions you make.
Gareth has a particular interest in discrimination law and also in data protection/freedom of information issues. He also advises on industrial relations issues and non-contentious, such as executive severances, business reorganisations, TUPE and outsourcing issues, and the employment aspects of corporate transactions.

Gareth heads up our employment team in Bristol and is also responsible for our immigration team. He is recognised in both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners for employment law and in the latter, Gareth is recognised as being "absolutely terrific" for both contentious and non-contentious work.

Gareth regularly conducts in-house training seminars and also speaks at external conferences. He regularly contributes articles for the business press on employment law issues. He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Gareth enjoys the theatre and is a member of the Board of Bristol Old Vic Theatre.
