James is a solicitor in our Litigation and Insolvency team, based in the London office.
Undertaking a mix of contentious and transactional insolvency work, he has experience assisting individual and insolvency practitioner clients, both in the lead up to and during insolvency processes. These include pre-pack administration sales, appointment applications by creditors and directors, as well as claims for recovery of antecedent transactions under the Insolvency Act 1986.
Being a member of our commercial litigation team, James has experience assisting companies and individuals in a wide range of commercial disputes. By way of example, he has advised on a number of commercial contract disputes, claims under the Companies Act 2006, shareholder disputes and partnership issues, each with unique business or sector considerations.
James is also part of our healthcare dispute resolution team. He has acted for GP partners as well as on the behalf of partnerships themselves. He also acts for clients in bringing procurement challenges, and works alongside our regulatory compliance team in challenging NHS and CQC decision making. He provides pragmatic and commercial advice tailored to the client's needs.
