Daniel has a particular interest in contentious matters arising from the management of clients' commercial property estates, from blue chip portfolios to single units, usually in the context of Landlord and Tenant matters involving lease renewals, dilapidations, rent and service charge arrears or unreasonably withholding consent.
Daniel advises acquiring authorities on the compulsory acquisition of land for major infrastructure projects, on compensation arising from such acquisitions and, if necessary, the disposal of acquired land post scheme.
Having gained commercial conveyancing experience before qualifying into the property litigation team, Daniel understands the practical commercial issues facing many property owners and occupiers. As a litigator, Daniel has experience of the County and High Courts, Property Tribunals and Alternative Dispute Resolution processes. Daniel's practical and measured approach encourages resolution, whilst ensuring that if court proceedings are necessary, the case is comprehensively and robustly prepared.
