Emma heads our Corporate team across all of our offices.
Emma specialises in all areas of corporate finance and acts for businesses, banks and high net worth individuals on M&A deals, financing arrangements and investments. Emma also advises on joint ventures, fundraisings and employee share schemes. She is a trusted advisor to many long-standing clients and provides ongoing governance and corporate support to those clients.
Emma has been on secondment to various clients, including an online travel business and a large energy company. These experiences have given her a real insight into the perspectives and commercial drivers of her clients, and help her to offer practical and insightful advice.
Emma is an active member of VWV's Digital & Technology sector and particularly enjoys advising clients in that sector.
Emma is based in our Watford office, but regularly visits all of our other offices and can support you nationally.

Recent news reports on the closure of The Big Difference arts venue on the High Street in Leicester city centre due to financial struggles and the decision of the trustees of Big Difference Company to make a serious incident report to the Charity Commission are just the latest in a serious of instances of charities closing due to financial distress and insolvency. These instances often illustrate all too well the oft-quoted line about insolvency happening "Two ways: gradually, then suddenly” leaving beneficiaries, employees and other stakeholders bewildered, and charity trustees fighting to justify their decisions.
