Our motto is "Bringing excellence to life, together". We are passionate about providing an excellent service to our clients in the life sciences sector and helping them and our wider network through our thought leadership, so that they in turn can bring excellence to others’ lives.
Our specialist lawyers need to understand the context in which our life sciences clients operate in order to properly advise on transactions and legal issues.
The sector is experiencing budget pressures and enormous changes in the merging of medicine and technology in disease diagnosis, treatment and monitoring, in helping companies getting products to the market and patients, and in digital health.
We provide services to people from across the pharmaceutical supply chain, from manufacturers through to pharmacies. We also help people who are exploring new opportunities within the supply chain.
Our clients include entrepreneurial businesses who look to innovate and find new opportunities, as well as ‘big pharma’, and people involved in specialised medicine, biotechnology, medical devices, digital health, industry suppliers such as CROs, pharmacies and others at the healthcare product/service interface.
We are well-equipped to assist life sciences businesses in matters where industry and health policy expertise are essential.
We focus our legal advice and support on three core areas:

Beyond our legal services, we add value through our network of good contacts and building communities in the industry. Whether you are looking for leading recruiters to acquire new staff, an expert to help get you through clinical trials, research labs, or someone with pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, we can work together to put you in touch with the right people.
We set up the Pharmaceutical Industry Network Group (PING) in 2010, in partnership with Watford Council, the Watford Chamber of Commerce and it is also supported by the Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership.
PING is a group designed for people in the industry right across the pharmaceutical supply chain from manufacturers through to pharmacists and many others. It is centred around Watford and the surrounding areas, but people from further afield also get involved. PING provides real value to its members through personalised networking with the right people and knowledge and best practice sharing opportunities.

We are active members of the Ethical Medicines Industry Group (EMIG), an association of 200 smaller and mid-size UK pharma companies. We take lead roles in EMIG’s Compliance, Brexit, digital health and employment thought leadership groups. We are also represented on the steering committee of EMIG.
The UK offers an unrivalled environment and opportunity for life sciences businesses. There are, however, key questions that need to be addressed before reaping the benefits. That is why we have set up a one-stop shop - ‘Life Starters’ - with other industry players in our network to help businesses take care of all of their needs, beyond just law, when setting up in the UK.
