Jennier is a recently qualified Solicitor working in the Regulatory Compliance team, based in our Bristol office.
Prior to joining VWV, Jennifer worked as a Trainee Solicitor assisting health and social care providers with regulatory and compliance matters. In this role Jennifer gained experience in conducting both civil and criminal litigation and providing support and advice during regulatory investigations.
Meeting Your Needs
As part of her work, Jennifer has advised clients on risk and compliance issues in order to ensure business viability and regulatory compliance and successfully challenged enforcement action taken against clients and advised on tactical approach.
Jennifer's previous role also required her to undertake a variety of tasks including reviewing various documents, policies, and contracts in order to advise on risk; drafting a range of complex legal documents including advice letters, appeal grounds, complaints, court forms and applications, and witness statements; and corresponding generally with clients, regulators, local authorities, Court officials, and other relevant third parties.
What You Might Like to Know
Jennifer originally studied Political Science and Psychology at Denison University in the United States. After graduating in 2018, she then went on to complete the Graduate Entry LLB at City, University of London and then the Legal Practice Course.
Prior to joining VWV, Jennifer worked in numerous legal offices including London Parliament and a Public Defenders office in Ann Arbor Michigan.
Jennifer used to be an avid hockey player. Now Jennifer enjoys frequenting the races, walking local footpaths, and exploring local towns and villages.
