Katie is an Associate in our Employment Law team based in our Birmingham office. With over 10 years' experience of advising employers on all aspects of employment law, Katie specialises in discrimination issues, redundancies and restructurings, discipline and performance, HR projects and complex tribunal litigation. She advises both commercial and charity sector clients, with particular expertise in the higher education and further education sectors.
Katie also has significant experience of assisting employers in relation to complex trade union issues, including recognition, collective agreements and industrial action.
Katie builds and maintains long term relationships with clients by providing practical, commercial advice. Her experience means that she can advise clients on sensitive and complex issues, whilst taking into account the context of the client's business.
Year of qualification - 2011
Katie is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. She also regularly delivers training sessions and workshops covering the full spectrum of employment law. Katie loves running and is always trying to find time to do more.
