Louise is a Senior Associate in the Regulatory Compliance team, based in our Bristol office. She advises educational institutions in the independent sector with a focus on commercial, welfare and regulatory matters. In particular Louise advises independent schools on their contractual relationship with parents, covering issues such as child protection, special educational needs and disabilities, discipline and parental complaints dispute resolution. She also provides a wide range of advice on pupil policies including safeguarding, admissions and anti-bullying.
Having previously acted for further and higher education institutions during her training, Louise understands the reputational concerns involved in the education sector, as well as the need for providing practical, timely advice in a fast paced environment.
Before qualifying in September 2013, Louise completed her law degree at Newcastle University and undertook her legal training in London.
Louise is a keen sportswoman and in her spare time enjoys running as well as swimming with her local masters club.
