How Can We help?

Charitable and Disabled Trusts

We act on behalf of charity trustees, as well as creating new charitable trusts and foundations. A number of our solicitors have particular expertise in creating trusts for those with disabilities where particular trust structures are required in order to avoid triggering tax liabilities or jeopardising means tested benefits.

Legal Advice for Trustees

The role of a trustee can be onerous and professional advice is required to avoid incurring liability. We offer bespoke legal advice for trustees on their obligations and duties.

Our Executor and Trustee Company

Our professional trustee company can act as a trustee where an independent non-family member is required. The trustee company can fulfill a valuable function providing professional advice and guidance and helping to prevent disputes between trustees and beneficiaries.

Trust Structures and Succession Planning

We can advise on trust structures as part of your succession planning process to shelter assets from inheritance tax, or from life events such as divorce and bankruptcy.

This may be important in planning for the succession of the family business.

Trust Management

We have very experienced trust managers who can complete trust accounts and deal with income tax returns for the trust.

Resolving Trust Disputes

Our Contentious Probate team has a wide range of experience in dealing with trust disputes, removing trustees or defending applications to remove, calling for an account and varying the terms of a trust.

We provide a national service to private clients via our offices in London, Watford, Bristol and Birmingham. For clients based in North Bristol, we also have a dedicated office at 106 Henleaze Road.

For trust management advice from experienced solicitors, please contact Michelle Rose on 0117 314 5246.

A very easy approach from all sides made the trust administration process clear and pleasant...
