People

Anu is a Foreign Qualified Lawyer in our Estates Tax Planning and Trusts team.

Anu is a Foreign-Trained Lawyer and Notary (Mauritius) with a focus on private client work, including estate administration, wills, probate, trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs). She has a particular interest in cross-jurisdictional matters.

Anu advises high-net-worth clients with assets in both the UK and France, working closely with Notaires and Tax advisers to support families through complex legal and cultural systems. She specialises in coordinating transactions and navigating the intricacies of dividing estates between beneficiaries in a tax-efficient manner.

In Mauritius, Anu assists individuals and families with successions, wills, powers of attorney, probate, and conveyancing. Her experience spans both civil and common law systems, enabling her to provide clients with practical, forward-looking solutions to cross-border challenges.

This unique combination of expertise allows Anu to guide clients through the full lifecycle of estate planning—from drafting wills and powers of attorney to administering estates and advising on the purchase or sale of property in France and Mauritius. She combines technical knowledge with empathy, helping families manage cross-border estates and property with clarity and reassurance during important transitions.

Anu is based in our Watford office, but can support you nationally.
