Bindu is a Partner in our Family team, with over 19 years' experience assisting clients with a range of issues following relationship breakdown.
Bindu is committed to providing an exceptional service, always going the extra mile. She approaches matters holistically, carefully balancing both the legal issues and the emotional needs of her clients. By keeping their best interests at the forefront, Bindu ensures that each client receives personalized and pragmatic advice for their specific circumstances. Bindu collaborates with other experts to complement the service she offers, taking a comprehensive approach that delivers a favourable outcome for her clients.
Bindu is highly experienced in advising on divorce and financial matters, regularly supporting clients through complex, high net worth settlements, and helping them navigate the process with clarity and confidence. Bindu specialises in helping clients confidently embark on new relationships with cohabitation and prenuptial agreements. She can also assist clients that may wish to preserve/protect wealth with postnuptial agreements.
Bindu understands that relationship breakdown can be difficult and helps clients with several issues such as:
- Child arrangements, disputes or relocation
- Cohabitation disputes
- Divorce (opposite/same sex marriages)
- Dissolution of civil partnerships
- Domestic abuse/coercive control
- Financial settlements/division of resources
- Grandparent rights
- International family matters
- Separation
Bindu encourages out of court, practical and cost-effective solutions and will advise clients on actions that they can take themselves to limit expense and conflict. If necessary, although very much the last resort, she can firmly guide clients through the court process.
Bindu is a trained mediator and collaborative lawyer. She regularly writes articles and has taken part in a family law clinic, podcasts, and a live Q&A TV show as she recognises the importance of sharing information and providing education on family law matters.
Bindu is based in our Watford office but can support you nationally.
I am very grateful for your consideration and understanding which you showed me in respect of my difficulties and fears around communications and negotiations …, in light of the very difficult history experienced. I am extremely grateful for your understanding.
