Jonathan is a partner in VWV's highly regarded injury law team. He advises on complex and high value personal injury and clinical negligence cases.

With over 20 years' experience of high value personal injury claims, Jonathan is well placed to assist with all aspects of the most complex cases.

Jonathan has represented clients in brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation and other serious injury claims, working with clients and their families to provide for their rehabilitation, housing and ongoing therapy and support needs.

He also has vast experience of representing families in the Coroners Court and subsequent damages claims.

One of Jonathan's notable cases is Max Raymond-Scott v UKR&I, where he represented the Claimant who sustained a serious and permanently disabling cold injury while employed by the British Antarctic Survey at Halley Base Station in Antarctica. The case went to a fully contested 7 day trial where the Claimant was awarded over £240,000.

Jonathan has represented clients in brain injury cases up to £16million in settlement value, and was recently recognized as one of the country's leading injury lawyers when he was admitted to the Legal 500 'Hall of Fame'. Jonathan is based in our Bristol office, but can support you nationally.

Jonathan has been Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers for over 20 years, and as a former Trustee of Headway UK for 6 years and former trustee of Headway Coventry and Warwickshire and Headway Bath, Jonathan understands the importance of rehabilitation in head injury cases and all cases of life changing injury and is passionate about ensuring the best possible access to professional therapy and support for his clients.
