Katie is a family law specialist working as a Senior Associate in the family law team.
She qualified as a solicitor in 2016, advising clients on divorce and the financial implications of divorce. Katie has a wealth of experience within family law, advising clients with modest assets to those of high net worth, as well as advising on a range of children matters including child arrangements, leave to remove applications and Schedule 1 proceedings. Katie has significant experience advising clients on such matters both outside of court and within court proceedings.
Where possible, Katie will advise her clients to engage in non-court dispute resolution including mediation, solicitor led negotiations and arbitration, and is able to reach settlements without having to resort to costly, stressful court proceedings.
Katie understands the impact that separation can have on her clients and the people around them. She can guide you through the process in a calm, professional and considerate manner, and prides herself on her reliability, flexibility and organisation.
She has extensive experience of company law, having spent 5 years advising companies and business owners on their business affairs as a Corporate lawyer. She is well positioned to advise you on the implications that a divorce can have on your business, as well as the options that may be available to you in order to protect your business.

Katie is a member of the Bristol Resolution Committee. Resolution was founded in 1982 and believe that a non-confrontational approach to family law issues produces a better outcome for separating families and their children.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time outside running and cycling. She has two young children who also enjoy sport, so she spends a lot of her time cheering for them on the football field.
