Lisa is a Senior Associate in our Restructuring and Insolvency team.

Lisa advises on all insolvency matters including corporate and personal insolvency. She acts on behalf of both office holders and individuals defending and advising in respect of claims including (but not limited to) transactions at an undervalue, preferences, void transactions, misfeasance/ breach of director duties, unlawful dividends, transactions defrauding creditors, wrongful trading and misfeasant trading. Lisa also acts in relation to the appointment of administrators and the sale of assets on behalf of administrators.

Lisa has 11 years' experience of dealing with insolvency claims and is well versed in a wide range of insolvency issues. She has experience in both corporate and personal insolvency and acts regularly for Insolvency Practitioners looking to bring claims on behalf of the insolvent estate, as well as individuals being pursued by IPs. She therefore has experience in a wide range of insolvency matters to draw from and can advise practically and commercially to align with the client's objectives.

The Restructuring and Insolvency team in Bristol have been listed in the most recent Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners directories for Restructuring and Insolvency in the South West. 

Lisa is based in the Bristol office, but can support you nationally.

What you might like to know

Lisa has three dogs and an old house so most of her free time is spent walking in the Somerset countryside and renovating. When there is a break in decorating, she likes to visit the sea in her T4 campervan for long walks on the beach, followed by curling up in the van with a hot chocolate to read a book.

Lisa is a committee member on the R3 South West and Wales committee and is currently acting as Vice chair.
