Oliver is a partner in the Commercial team with particular expertise in healthcare.
Oliver specialises in partnership agreements, mergers, superparnterships, network agreements for PCNs, and other general commercial advice to GP practices and PCNs.
Oliver has worked almost exclusively for GP practices since 2005, from single handers to very large (60+ partner) super partnerships. He has advised on over 500 partnership agreements for GP practices, and over 200 GP mergers.
As well as partnership agreements, he can advise on joint venture arrangements between practices, federations, co-operatives, clusters, and has done a lot of work on the "decentralised" or "super partnership" model of GP mergers. Oliver also advises on the terms of NHS contracts.
He is based in the Bristol office, but can support you nationally.
Oliver makes every transaction so much easier. He is very understanding of client constraints and I have recommended him to more people than I can count.

Oliver is the only solicitor sitting on the committee of the ICAEW's Healthcare Community. He regularly gives legal updates to the ICAEW healthcare community, and to AISMA.
Oliver was also asked to co-write Hot Topics in Financial and Legal Matters for General Practice, an easy-to-read book for GPs and practice managers on financial, accounting and legal matters.

Oliver works very closely with the healthcare property team led by Ben Willis in particular, as so often there is an overlap between partnership and property law. He also supports the partnership disputes team led by Rachel Crean.
