Philip works closely with members of the firm's Construction, Commercial Property and Planning teams to ensure that clients receive pragmatic, joined-up advice from the beginning. Philip also maintains a strong network of sector experts inside and outside the firm, to ensure that you always have the right team for the job.
Philip always seeks to provide timely and practical advice to help clients to anticipate and avoid potential disputes and to resolve ongoing disputes pragmatically, saving time, energy and money. Where litigation cannot be avoided, Philip represents clients in courts and tribunals across the country.
He is based in our Bristol office, but can support you nationally.

What you might like to know
Philip studied law at the University of Cambridge, and then went on to complete his Legal Practice Course (LPC) and a Masters of Law at the University of Law in Bristol; he has been with VWV since 2014. He is a member of both the Property Litigation Association and the Agricultural Law Association.
Philip regularly delivers seminars and training sessions on property law and has published articles for the Estates Gazette and the Local Government Association.
In his spare time, Philip is an AFOL (Adult Fan of Lego) and has won several competitions for his creations.
