Sally Cook | Construction Senior Paralegal in Bristol

Sally is a Senior Paralegal in our Construction team.

Sally has 8 years' experience of working within our Commercial Property team and has been a paralegal in our Construction team in Bristol for just over thirteen years.

She works closely with her colleagues on a range of construction projects and supports them on a day-to-day basis with a particular focus on professional appointments, construction and engineering contracts, collateral warranties and deeds of novation. She advises funders, building owners, contractors and construction professionals upon their rights and obligations in all aspects of the construction process.

Sally is well placed to ensure that you get the support that you require when construction issues arise. She enjoys the variety of work and frequently advises schools on construction matters arising out of their conversion to academy status.

Sally's experience includes:

Assisting with the construction documentation for Government approved funders on development projects.
Assisting with appointment documentation for University's.
Assisting on a number of academy conversions, including preparation of deeds of novation to transfer ongoing construction contracts / consultant appointments and deeds of assignment to transfer collateral warranties / product guarantees and construction documentation in relation to completed building projects from existing schools / local authorities to the new academy trusts.

What You Might Like to Know

Sally has completed Chartered CILEx qualifications as follow:

Levels 2 on an Introduction to Law and Practice;
Level 3 in Contract Law, Employment Law, Client Care Skills, Legal Research Skills, Criminal Law and Law of Tort; and;
CILEx Level 6 in Client Care Skills, Legal Research Skills, land law, and conveyancing.
