
Simon is a Partner in our Commercial Property team who primarily works nationally for clients in the education, charities and public sectors.
He has over 16 years' experience in advising independent schools and other charity organisations on a national basis on a wide range of property transactions.
Simon also plays a key role in the Bristol real estate team. He has considerable experience in the acquisition, development and disposal of freehold and leasehold property. He has acted on all aspects of landlord and tenant work recently completing a property development and letting transaction to Waitrose for a national developer client.
Simon also provides specialist advice to UK education sector investors.
Simon leads a team of specialist lawyers on property work in the education and charity sectors. He oversees transactional property work (both freehold and leasehold), development opportunities, property arrangements with trading companies and provides advice on capital projects.
He has a special interest and expertise in advising clients on strategic issues relating to their property assets working in close collaboration with colleagues in our charity corporate team on structural changes including charity mergers, consolidations and joint ventures. His experience means that he can provide thorough and pragmatic advice on property issues.
Simon is based in our Bristol office, but can support you nationally.
