Tom is a transactional lawyer, qualified in England and New York, with a heavy tax background. He has over thirty years' experience on both sides of the Atlantic.

Tom assists multinationals with their cross-border transactions, and supports the venture team on capital-raising by new companies.

He supports the charities team on international philanthropy and recognition issues, and advises several UK endowed charities on the legal/tax aspects of their investment in alternatives.

As the national security regulation of cross-border trade and deals increases, Tom works with clients on complying with the UK's National Security & Investment Act, its export controls and sanctions.

He co-founded the group of VWV lawyers exploring the legal and tax aspects of digital assets and blockchain technology - 'Blockbusters'.

Tom is based in our London office but can support you nationally.
