Tom is an Associate in the Property Litigation team.

Tom can advise clients on a wide range of disputes relating to property litigationcommercial and residential property.

Tom has particular experience in contentious landlord and tenant matters including dilapidations, possession claims, rent arrears matters, termination of leases including by forfeiture, service charge disputes, opposed and unopposed lease renewals, breaches of covenant, property related insolvency and the exercise of break clauses.

Tom is admitted to practice in England and Wales, and has experience of the County and High Courts and the Property Tribunals. 

Tom works hard to ensure that he understands clients' objectives from the outset in order to provide practical and commercial advice and resolve matters in the most cost-effective way possible.

He is based in our Bristol office, but can support you nationally.

What you might like to know

Tom graduated with a 2.1 in French and Spanish from University College London in 2014 and has spent extended periods of time living in France, Spain and Argentina. He went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law and then the Legal Practice Course, in which he was awarded a Distinction with a Master of Science in Law, Business and Management.

Tom trained and qualified with Charles Russell Speechlys LLP in London before joining VWV in February 2022.

In his spare time, Tom enjoys watching and playing football and is a keen tennis player.
