Skilled Worker visa training for schools
There have been lots of significant changes to the Skilled Worker visa route in the last 18 months, increasing the salary thresholds and reducing the list of eligible occupations.
Recent changes have introduced additional layers of complexity to assessments of which workers qualify for which types of role, and the salary thresholds that apply to them.
In addition to these changes, UK Visas and Immigration have increased compliance activity, carrying out more compliance visits and carrying out remote compliance reviews using data obtained from other agencies and government departments. As a result the numbers of Skilled Worker sponsor licences being suspended and revoked has never been higher.
Compliance with rules and your school's duties as a sponsor is therefore as important now as it has ever been.
