David Gazzard joins our Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence team
VWV is delighted to welcome David Gazzard as a partner in its Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence team.
David brings more than 30 years of experience in personal injury and clinical negligence law.
Having previously been a Consultant and Head of Clinical Negligence, David has built a strong reputation for supporting clients through some of the most complex and sensitive cases in this field.
David specialises in clinical negligence, having represented hundreds of clients on a 'no win, no fee' basis. This approach means that anyone who has been harmed by substandard medical care can access expert legal advice, regardless of their financial situation. His work spans a wide range of cases, from serious surgical complications and spinal injuries to delayed cancer diagnosis and fatal accident claims.
For many years, David has also been a committed advocate for individuals and families affected by exposure to sodium valproate in utero, an area brought into sharp public focus by the Hughes Report, which highlighted the serious harm caused to children whose mothers took the drug during pregnancy.
David has commented:
